In 2006, the total retail value of the non-public ownership economy reached 7.48293 billion Yuan, increased by 15% and took 94.9% of the district’s whole retail value. Among them, the total retail value created by private enterprises reached 1.10088 billion Yuan, up 18.7%, that created by joint stock cooperative enterprises was 51.27 million Yuan, up 48.4% and that created by companies with limited liability was 770, 05 million Yuan, up 22.2%.
In 2006, the total retail value of the social consumable created by the wholesale and retail trade industry was 6.44446 billion Yuan, increased 850.64 million Yuan. The value, increased by 15.2%, took 81.8 % of the whole retail value of the social consumable. That created by the catering industry was 1.43825 billion Yuan, increased 219.9 million Yuan. The value, increased by 18%, took 18.2% of the whole.
